Welcome to the Website of KOAGAS NIHON

As a leader of our group, I would like to appreciate your visit to our website.
By way of greeting, I would like to tell you our group.

We are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company in June this year.

The history of KOAGAS NIHON Group dates back to time when I established the first LP Gas sales company at Sendai, Kagoshima prefecture, the southern part of Japan in 1955.

KOAGAS NIHON Group has established an indisputable position as a conglomerate of LP Gas-related companies through the continuing diversification of the business up to the town gas, community gas (pipe-line propane gas), in-bulk-sales, service station for LP gas cars, transportation services of LP Gas and containers, design and installation of LP Gas related plants, and technology licensing, etc.

The most far-reaching feature of our group, among them, can be said that our group has developed all the businesses based on our proprietary technologies.

We developed and commercialized a LP Gas cylinder filling process in which a blow of propane gas is thoroughly recovered by the adoption of the proprietary three-way rotary valve without the emission of it into the air in our country for the first time in 1956.

After the development of a filling system for the customer's storage tank, we succeeded in the technical development and commercialization of a propane-air gas manufacturing process for the town gas use, naming it MK 13A Propane-Air Gas Manufacturing Process in 1984.
The outstanding feature of the process is to use an air-heated type of vaporizer that utilizes the atmosphere heat as the heat source for the vaporization of LP Gas.
In 1999, air-heated / hot-water dual type of vaporizer was developed to build into the No.2 plant.
This dual type of vaporizer is not only superior in terms of the operability but also enables the operation even at the lower atmospheric temperature zones.

The technology is patented abroad such as in Korea, UK, Singapore and USA as well as in Japan.
We have licensed our technologies to many companies in Japan and abroad, being still receiving a number of inquiries about our technologies.

I, as a developer and an operator of the MK 13A Gas Manufacturing Process, am very proud to know the fact that all the plants are run more successfully than we had expected without any accident or trouble since the start of operation and also the consumers fully satisfy the quality of the product gas.

I received an award of "The Grand Prix of Technology", called a Nobel prize in the Japanese gas industry, from Japan Gas Association (JGA) for the technical development and commercialization of MK 13A Gas Manufacturing Process.

In order to meet the full-scale, in-bulk sales age in store, we developed a new type of bobtail which never emits a blow of LP Gas into the atmosphere in filling process of the LP Gas into a storage tank by recovering of the LP Gas remained in a filling hose and attachments in 2002.
In addition, with the capability shortening the filling time, this new type of bobtail is becoming the strong forces for our in-bulk sales of the LP Gas.
We may call this new type of bobtail "the new generation type of bobtail".

Our group's motto is not only to maintain the stable supply of clean, easy-to-use, high quality fuel gas through the more safety plants that never pollutes the environment to our customers but also to be in the vanguard of technical development in the LP Gas industry worldwide.
In this sense, we will be committed to the further development of the new technology from now on.

It is my pleasure, as a leader of our group, that our proprietary technologies could contribute to not only the well being of the people but also the development of the LP Gas industries worldwide.

We are a member of National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) since 1996 and further recently joined to World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) in an effort to develop further the global business through our proprietary technologies.
We look forward to forming the business relationship with the companies in the world.
