New Type of Bobtail

	KOAGAS NOHON Group has developed a new type of, gentle-with-the-glove-bobtail by applying the blow by-pass system adopted in the LP Gas Cylinder Filling Process. The bobtail, called New Generation type of Bobtail as well, never emits a blow of the propane gas into the air in the filling process of the LP Gas into a storage tank by recovering the residual propane gas remained in a filling hose and the attachments, etc. The related patents are obtained in Japan and the USA, etc. The picture below is of the first, new type of bobtail deployed already in KOAGAS NIHON Group's tank trucking fleet.

	The bobtail carries a unit that consists of various types of double or triple-protected-safety devices, filling hoses with the attachments, a micro compressor and a receiver. The use of this unit can to a great extent speed up the filling rate. The unit is useful for the recovery of the residual LP Gas in a storage tank that has come to light as a new problem in the "in-bulk-sales of the LP Gas" as well. It is certain that the new-generation type of bobtail will accelerate the replacement of the cylinder-sales of the LP Gas with the in-bulk-sales in the near future.
