The Company was established for the purpose of supplying the town gas at Sendai city,
Kagoshima prefecture in 1966.
After supplying the low calorie gas of 5,000 kcal/m3 manufactured through the
butane catalytic cracking process licensed from Osaka Gas Co for many years,
MK 13A Propane-Air Gas Manufacturing process was installed to meet the
requirements of the time, the high calorie gas and the increasing demand, for the
first time in the Sendai Factory in 1984, The calorie of the gas supplied
is 15,000 kcal/m3.
In 1996, the second plant of MK 13A Propane-Air Gas Manufacturing process
was constructed at the grass-roots factory of the Company to supply the
high calorie town gas of 15,000 kcal/m3 to the 4,000 households
and establishments in Kokubu city.
Both the plants are successfully on stream without any accident or trouble.
